Ann Darr has worked at the Herbarium since 1995 as a liaison with the SC Department of Natural Resources. Her DNR base is within the Heritage Trust Program. Ann's recent research, with Dr. Bert Pittman, has included inventory of botanical sites in the Coastal Plain, primarily on limestone and marl formations, and within longleaf pine ecosystems. She is now involved in developing research protocol for sampling plant communities on circumneutral soils in selected parts of the mountains.
