This web cam, one of the first on the internet, is located on the top floor of the Coker Life Sciences Building, College of Arts & Sciences, on the main campus of the University of South Carolina, in Columbia, SC.  It was first installed to permit remote viewing of Gamecocks athletics activities at the Williams Brice Stadium, but was re-tasked to follow the construction of the Graduate Sciences Research Center building (Chemistry) in the late 1990‘s. It is now generally pointed at the reflection pool facing the Thomas Cooper Library with the Capstone Building (residence hall) off in the distance.
